Preparing a marine insurance enquiry
Marine enquiries require clear information about the craft, ownership, use, value, mooring and intended navigation. The relevant questions can differ between a small pleasure craft and a larger yacht.
We help collect the information needed for an Argus enquiry and explain the documents supplied with an available quotation. Any navigational limits, conditions, security requirements and exclusions are governed by those documents.
Information worth preparing
- Craft type, builder, model, year and registration.
- Ownership, purchase information and the value to be considered.
- Engine, equipment and tender details where relevant.
- Usual mooring, storage and intended area of navigation.
- Skipper experience and claims information requested for assessment.
